About the Relish
This gourmet recipe is a variation on a dish my mother Angela made regularly when I was growing up. She spent most of her life living in the Caribbean nation of Antigua but her parents were from Madeira, Portugal, an island off Morocco. A fantastic blend of Western European and Moroccan flavors, this relish is the an out-of-this-world topping for hot dogs and burgers and goes great with a range of fish, beef and chicken dishes. Its old world flavors will bring back memories of gatherings of friends and family.
